Why is he an asshole Charles? He hasn't had his day in court yet and in Canada you are presumed innocent until found guilty. So why not wait until a conviction occurs (if one does) before judging him?
Lots of people are charge without much evidence. Remember this is New Brunswick. He can be charged, tried, and convicted on no evidence at all or made up evidence. Saying that someone showed remorse is completely subjective.
